This Jersey Shore Bar Serves One Of The Best Margarita Pies We’ve Ever Had
You can never go wrong with a bar pie when you go out for a happy hour at the Jersey Shore. One of my wife's and my favorite activities to do on a day off is go out for a drink and a small pie after spending the day working around the house. It's our own little reward.
And usually, we get the same thing wherever we go. I get a Kane Head High when it's available, and she gets either a Cold Snap, a Corona, or a Margarita depending on the weather, and then of course, we go ahead and split a bar pie together.

New Jersey Is Home To So Many Great Places To Get A Bar Pie
Over the years, we've had some amazing bar pies. The Anchor Inn in Ocean Gate has a wicked pepper and onion pie that's to die for.
Hemingway's in Seaside Heights also does a really good bar pie, and so does Johnny Mac's in Asbury Park, plus that ones free so long as you buy a drink.
We always get the Margarita bar pie, and this past week, we may have had the best Margarita bar pie we've ever had in our lives.

What Is A Margarita Bar Pie?
A margarita bar pie has fresh mozzarella on top, as well as basil, tomatoes, and if it's a good bar pie, the restaurant goes the extra mile and throws some fresh parm on top of everything to give you a nice little dusting of cheese to bring it all together.
Where To Get The Best Margarita Pizza At The Jersey Shore
And if you want the best margarita bar pie in Jersey, there's one place you have to go: MJ's in Bayville.
We were blown away by the margarita bar pie we got there the other week. The crust was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil were perfectly cooked and complemented each other very well. And yes, it had the parmesan cheese dusting to bring it all together.
You may not think of MJ's for bar pies, but rest assured, you won't regret getting their margarita pie; it's the best I've ever had.
