Wanna Be Famous? Are You New Jersey’s Next Big Reality Star?

If you've ever wanted to be on TV, this could be your big break!

I was scrolling through NJ.com when I saw some exciting news: ITV America is looking to cast NJ families for a TV Show!  According to the article, they're looking for:

New Jersey socialites who are outspoken, magnetic and have “amazing, full” lives.

Does this sound familiar?  When first reading this, I thought it sounded a lot like The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  It turns out that there may be a connection, per NJ.com, since the company that produces the show is part of ITV America.  No way!

How cool would it be to be on Reality TV?  There are definitely some shows I'd jump at the chance to be on - including The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  I'm not even remotely close to being married yet, but I'd bring the drama.  I definitely wouldn't be afraid to tell Marge that it wasn't okay to spill the tea about Jen's husband's affair to everyone.

If the show were like Jersey Shore, I'd have to pass.  There's no way I would want my family to see me at my worst and partying with a bunch of people.  Can you say awkward?

My over-the-top family would be AMAZING on TV though.  We're loud, passionate, and bring the comedy.  Nothing beats the time my Dad was accidentally walking through an airport with a tag that said "fragile" on his back.  And instead of warning him about it, my Mom laughed and took pictures.  Whoops.
