Employees at the Ruby Tuesday on Route 9 in Howell are apparently out of a job unexpectedly when they didn't even make it into the building today before finding out that the restaurant was closed for good.

My colleague Matt Ryan on our sister station 94.3 The Point was one of the first on the story that was posted to the Howell Happenings Facebook group just this afternoon.

According to the Facebook conversation, employees going to work on this Monday morning were met with a sign in the window and a company representative outside to give them the news.

This isn't the first time that something like this has happened at the Shore, you might remember earlier this year that the Eatontown Houlihan's closed with no advance warning.

We'll keep you updated as more on this story is made public. In the meantime, you can read the original story by clicking here.
