It was exactly 4 weeks ago today that we launched the 2018 quest to find the school with the most school spirit in Ocean County.

It started with 18 schools on October 1st, and comes down to one school today.

And that school is...

Brick Memorial High School

A huge congratulations goes out to Brick Memorial and all those who supported them throughout the competition!

Two weeks ago I mentioned how Brick schools had come in a close 2nd more than once between our School Spirit and Mascot Madness competitions, and it seems like that was the motivation needed to bring the title to Bricktown.

The home of the Mustangs certainly stampeded the competition:

Now, here's where we need to all come together!

As you know, every year we pit our winner against the winner of the same competition for Monmouth County, conducted by our sister station 94.3 The Point.

I can tell you this - the Monmouth County campaign has been more competitive than ever before, so it's no time to rest on our laurels!

Ocean County has won the head-to-head competition every time that we have taken on our neighbors to the north, so as we await the announcement of their winner, let's keep the momentum going and keep the grand prize in Ocean County!
