This is enough to get your blood boiling even during Christmas week. A list of the 50 best beach towns to live in was published and the Garden State, not surprisingly, got the bad end of the deal. Of all of the great beaches the Jersey Shore has to offer, only one beach in the whole state made the list.

Let's bring you the bad news quickly, and maybe it'll be a little less painful. The only beach that made Stacker's list was Ocean City, so you can cross both Monmouth & Ocean Counties right off the list.

The beach that did make it was Ocean City, and even that gorgeous spot barely got on to this list, coming in at a pretty weak #47. And let's remember, that's out of 50. Ouch.

That means that the following 10 amazing Monmouth & Ocean County beaches were snubbed on this list. And we think each one of them should have made it.

Great Jersey Shore Beaches Snubbed On The Top 50 Best Beach Towns List

Now, before you get even more aggravated, remember, we only did a list of 10 here. If your favorite isn't on our list, it's not a snub. It just means we ran out of places for it, but feel free to add your choice in the Comment section.

And I just want to add that I think it's a shame that New Jersey seems to get the short end of the stick all the time with these lists, even when it comes to one of our strengths like our beaches and beach towns. But we know how lucky we are, and that's all that's important.
