This page's main goal is to connect people who need help to those that can help them and vise versa.

It could fall under ANY category: food donations, grocery shopping, running errands for those at high risk, etc.....

Food/Financial Assistance

Price gouging is illegal when we are in a nationwide state of emergency. If you know an instance of price gouging in Monmouth County, click HERE. And for Ocean County, please click HERE.

Fulfill (formerly known as the Foodbank of Monmouth & Ocean County) will not let anyone go hungry. If you or someone you know needs food, please call (732) 918-2600.

The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore are giving residents and businesses the option to sponsor a box of cookies that will be given to local hospitals, police departments and first aid squads. Cookies do help A LOT.

There is a GoFundMe campaign that started to . Donations have been made from as far as China and now, the money will be used to bring in crucial supplies that will be needed in New Jersey over the next few weeks.

There is a long list of Jersey Shore companies who are hiring during the coronavirus pandemic. If you are in need of work, take a look and apply now.

The nonprofit known as WHIP -- which stands for Wall Helps Its People -- is delivering lunches to students who relied on the reduced-lunch plan for a hardy meal while at school. WHIP is also financially assisting local residents, families and veterans who are having trouble making ends meet during this pandemic.

Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, Danny DeVito, Jon Bon Jovi, Steven Colbert, Carli Lloyd, Whoopi Goldberg and Charlie Puth have posted selfie-style videos to promote the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund. All of the money raised will be used, “to fight the medical, social and economic impact of COVID-19.”

Bubbakoos Burritos has vowed that no one will go hungry during the pandemic. If you or someone you know is in need of a meal, please call (609) 281-8444.

After the casinos in Atlantic City were forced to shut down, they were left with an abundance of food that would have spoiled and went unused. Instead, Bally's Caesars and more donated a massive amount of food to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission and to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Southern Branch.

Mental Health

Matt Ryan posted a list of mental health tips that were put together by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to remind us all to care for your mental health in the face of uncertainty.

The National Alliance om Mental Illness posted a visual to help raise awareness on the pandemic's impact of people's mental health.

Medical Help/Supplies

If your job is still expecting you to be working in an office or out in the field when you think you shouldn’t be, there is a form to fill out to report violators. Being out and about when you are not supposed to be is a direct violation of Murphy’s Executive Order 107 because you are putting yourself at risk of being exposed.

Four temporary field hospitals are going to be built in New Jersey to help with our response to the coronavirus. The hospitals are being built at the Meadowlands Convention Center in Secaucus, the Atlantic City Convention Center and two hospitals will be built at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison.

David Burke of DRIFTHOUSE in Sea Bright is using his liquor inventory to make hand sanitizer. After sending a first batch to our first responders, a bottle of hand sanitizer will be included in each takeout order while supplies last.

We are working to learn about all of the medical testing sites that are popping up throughout the Jersey Shore. There is a medical site currently being put together at the OCC and the PNC Bank Arts Center testing site opened earlier this week. We will continuously update this as we receive information.

JOANN Fabric and Craft posted an instructional video to show people how to make face masks themselves that can ultimately be donated to our first responders, police officers, EMTs and our medical professionals.

If you suspect that you have the coronavirus, you can take advantage of telemedicine -- you will be connected to a medical professional via laptop, smart phone or tablet.

The State Department of Human Services' Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services is working closely with opioid treatment programs to provide guidance on how to continue to serve their clients while also practicing social distancing. If you think you have a problem or are recovering from addiction and need help, call 844-REACHNJ. They are open 24 hours a day.

A nonprofit organization known as Pinwheel Place is NJ's first crisis nursery and they are offering wipes and diapers to families in need or to agencies that work with families in need. Please reach out at info@pinwheelplace.org or call (732) 542-1026.

Local Businesses

We have been telling you to support Jersey Shore businesses from the start but Howell Councilman, John Bonevich, posted a guide for all Howell businesses that are open during the pandemic. Support them!

Thank you to Scott Broschart who put together a guide for all of the restaurants offering take out in Red Bank. They even have the restaurants sorted by type of food!

Squan Tavern on Broad Street in Manasquan has set up a GoFundMe. The money raised will be passed onto the restaurant's servers to financially help them through this difficult time. Donate now.

Food

The Howell Food Pantry is in need of non-perishable, non-expired food, paper goods, toiletries and monetary donations. You can drop off on Monday between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. You can also call (732) 938-2368 to make an appointment.

Medical Help/Supplies

Monmouth County is in DIOR NEED for PPE and a new designated drop off site for emergency supplies at Thompson Park onThompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, in Lincroft, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Animals

The Monmouth County SPCA and The Associated Humane Society's Animal Shelter in Tinton Falls are open and desperate to keep adoptions going. You MUST book an appointment to go into EITHER of the shelters listed above to meet rescues that you are considering adopting.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is working hard to find homes – even if they are temporary – for our furry friends during this pandemic. They have over 80 animals in foster homes and they hope that number continues to rise. If you can foster, head to the shelter’s website.
