Have you ever gone geocaching? If you have never heard of it, I guess it's best explained as a world-wide scavenger hunt. People hide a "geocache" and using the app you track it and search for it. Above you see the location of our last geocache. It's fun to go out and see new sites while looking for a geocache.

Above you see the "geocache" we found at this location. Usually a small container, that's waterproof, which contains little tokens. The tokens may be toys, coins, geocache items etc. You take one, but leave one of your own in the cache. You also sign a log sheet that should be in the container. On the log sheet you put your username and date you found it. You also can take pics and use them to log your find on the geocache app. Try not to take photos that gives the location away, because others looking at the hunt online will be disappointed if it's spoiled. The fun is in the hunt and sometimes the geocache is hidden so well you won't find it. We enjoy geocaching and look forward to many more ! It's a great family activity and there are thousands of great geocaches here at the Jersey Shore. Fall is also a great time to get outdoors and get some fresh air, exercise and fun this autumn.

So tell us if you like geocaching or maybe you tried it and wasn't for you or you've never heard of this ?  We always love your feedback!
