Hard Rock in Atlantic City Announces Safety Plan for Re-Opening

One of my favorite casinos in Atlantic City is the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.  If you love music like I do then this destination is a must for anyone going to Atlantic City. I love walking around looking at all the memorabilia.

So many artists displays from all kinds of different music styles, you are bound to find a few of your favorites.

One of my favorite attractions is the "Jersey" museum. It's a display that focuses on some of the greats in the music world from New Jersey. The display has various items from Springsteen to Sinatra and everything in between....including Bon Jovi. Make sure you talk a walk through the "Jersey" display when you go.

This week in a report from the Atlantic City Press, the Hard Rock revealed it's safety plan for re-opening.

Here's some of the programs the Hard Rock will be implementing:

• Mandatory face masks
• Temperature checks for all guests and employees
• An entire team dedicated to cleaning and disinfecting
• Increased air circulation
• A local partnership with AtlantiCare for contact tracing, training and health services are all part of the property’s “Safe + Sound” program.

The Hard Rock will adhere to social distancing guidelines recommended by health professionals, and the property will have a yet-to-be-determined capacity limit. In addition the Hard Rock announced the addition of plexiglas partitions that will be installed at select table games and the sports book, in addition to the front desk, cashier cages and guest services.

If you love the slots ... Casino Officials announced every other slot machine seat and table game position must remain vacant, unless the guests are related or are together in a group.

As far as dining ... Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, Kuro, Il Mulino, Hard Rock Cafe, Youyu Noodle Bar, Sugar Factory, Flavor Tour and White House Subs will be open with social distancing requirements in place. The Hard Rock Cafe and Sugar Factory will both offer outdoor dining options.

No word yet on an exact re-opening date for the Hard Rock, but we will keep you posted.
