Last week, we got word that Six Flags Great Adventure's beloved safari will once again reopen for guests to drive themselves through.

Going through the Great Adventure safari is one of my favorite childhood memories, and today, Great Adventure is giving us more details, including the opening date - Saturday, May 30th.

In a Wednesday morning press release, Great Adventure officials outlined everything that you'll need to know to bring the fun of the drive-thru safari to a whole new generation.

Here are the things that you'll need to know before visiting the Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure:

• You'll have to make an online reservation ahead of time.
• Reservations open on Wednesday, May 27th at 10:00 A.M. You can click here for the reservation page.
• You will of course have to keep your windows closed and convertible tops up.
• No feeding the animals.
• Per state guidelines, there won't be services such as food and restrooms available, at least to start.
