The annual run and walk, taking place in Island Heights, is a great way to enjoy a beautiful spring day here at the Jersey Shore and get some great exercise. Let's face it after all that has gone on in the last two years, anytime you can get outdoors for a nice neighborhood event, it's a welcome sight.

According to their website, This year’s race is dedicated to the memory of Kiwanian G. Edward McComsey, founder of the River to Bay 5K, who passed away in December 2021. In addition, all proceeds benefit local youth and charitable organizations. Visit their website at http://tomsriverkiwanis.org/  and click the "history" tab to see some of the organizations they support. You can also get registered for the event as well.
