According to Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia’s corporate office, the newest location on Brick Boulevard in Brick should be open by the end of the month.

The opening has been delayed because this is the first Goodwill location to use a new bar coding system. The new system will allow Goodwill to be better organized, making the shopping experience more like that of a regular retail store, as opposed to the somewhat-haphazard style of other thrift shops.

The new Goodwill features both a retail store and donation center. The building, formerly Sixth Avenue Electronics, will feature 18,000 square feet of space, and a drive thru donation center in the rear of the building.
