Get Your Green On! It’s The Downtown Toms River Irish Festival This Saturday
One of my favorite times of year is March and St. Patrick's Day. I did a story this week that highlighted "corned beef and cabbage" and how I love to cook for the family. I also love the festivals that take place with St. Patrick's Day and of course our famous St. Patrick's Breakfast with Sue and me at Klee's in Seaside Heights. I love the parades too and we have three fun ones here at the Shore in Belmar, Asbury Park, and Seaside Heights.
All kinds of Irish Festivals this time of year and there is another great one happening this weekend right here in Ocean County. In fact, this one is just a few steps from our 92.7 WOBM studios here in Downtown Toms River.
This Saturday, March 5th Downtown Toms River will be feelin' green as they host the Downtown Toms River Irish Festival 2022. According to the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District website "Downtown Toms River is celebrating the Irish on Saturday, March 5th from 1 pm-8 pm. Join our downtown businesses, restaurants, brewery, and distillery for a fun day of food, music, vendors, and all things Irish."
It is going to be a fun day and lots of Irish "shenanigans" in Downtown Toms River from 1 to 8 pm.
In addition, keep in mind Washington Street will be closed between Main St. and Robbins St.
Live Irish Music with "Ballyhaunis Band" they will be playing at Garden State Distillery from 4 pm-7 pm.
