Four Towns in Ocean and Monmouth Counties Make List of Fabulous Quaint Towns to Visit in New Jersey
This is a look at what are called “quaint” towns you should visit here in New Jersey. These are what people are calling ‘charming” shore towns that have made a list of must-visit locations here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

In a recent article by Travel Awaits they picked out 7 Jersey towns that they considered "quaint" or maybe "charming" could be the word, but you get the type of description they were going for. Out of the 7 towns, 4 of them are right here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
So I decided to focus on the "4" we have here in Ocean-Monmouth and some photos from the locations. It's very cool that the majority of the 7 towns are here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. So let's take a look at the "4" beginning with Ocean County.
Barnegat Light - Long Beach Island
Home to the famous Barnegat Light aka "Old Barney" the town also features several fun shops and great eateries to dine at as well. Definitely a quaint little town on the northernmost end of Long Beach Island.
Tuckerton
Our second "quaint" shore town in Ocean County is Tuckerton. Set in Southern Ocean County Tuckerton is home to the historic "Tuckerton Seaport and Museum. The article mentions how it's a must-see for anyone visiting Ocean County. All kinds of cool things including Tucker's Island Lighthouse.
Ocean Grove
This quiet and "quaint" town was one of two selected from Monmouth County. One of the big attractions is the historic "Great Auditorium" in Ocean Gate a must-see if you are in town.
Spring Lake
Spring Lake is the second town selected from Monmouth County and it fits the bill of "quaint coastal towns". Especially with its 2-mile boardwalk which everyone loves.
The other towns that made the list of 7 included Cape May, Stone Harbor, and Avalon.
