Four swimmers rescued from the tide at Island Beach State Park
As if you need another warning not to swim without lifeguards on duty. Four people in distress were saved at Island Beach State Park Tuesday after being caught in a rip current.
A small crew nearby which did include a lifeguard, made the rescue.
Swimming at any state park and beach without a lifeguard on duty is prohibited.
