Followup – Texting Won’t Be Coming To Shore Theaters
Yesterday we told you about how AMC Theatres, which has three locations at the Jersey Shore, was considering allowing patrons to text during movies. We also included the fact that a lot of moviegoers weren't too happy about that news. Well, the company has listened.
To their credit, AMC CEO Adam Aron penned a lengthy letter that was posted to Facebook saying, "this is an idea that we have relegated to the cutting room floor".

So, good news for movie patrons in Toms River, Brick, and Eatontown, your moviegoing experience won't be overshadowed by eager texters any time soon.
Well, it won't be sanctioned by the company, at least. We can't speak for the rouge texters who feel like they just can't shut their phones off for two hours.
