First Tee, like many other non-profits in Ocean and Monmouth County are hurting due to Covid-19.

First Tee's program is available to all children and youth ages 4 -17, at the Jersey Shore, Ocean and Monmouth Counties. Clubs and other equipment are provided by The First Tee if needed. Golferships are available for anyone in financial need  and they will not turn a child away due to financial hardship. Golf skills are taught under direction of The First Tee trained coaches.

Golf has become such a popular sport for girls and boys.

First Tee's Annual Golf Fundraiser is set for August 4th, 2020, according to the patch.com at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson Township. Like many nonprofit organizations, First Tee is hurting from a loss of revenue because of program cancellations and delays because of Covid-19 - First Tee is committed to ensuring that all youth have access to its programs, Director Tara Kelly says.

The Golf Fundraiser begins at 8 am for registration, breakfast, and practice on the range/putting green with tee-times starting at approximately 9 am, at Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson Township. Golfers will enjoy a lunch and a dinner reception. CLICK HERE to resgister as a player or to be a sponsor or call 732 - 300 - 1130.

This is a fantastic organization for Ocean and Monmouth County. It's a great way to help kids follow their dreams of playing golf that might not get a chance to do it otherwise. There are two places for golf programs for kids ages 4 to 17. The William Larkin Golf Course at Colonial Terrace in Ocean Township in Monmouth Count and the First Tee Learning Center at Ocean County Park in Lakewood in Ocean County.
