
Father and son caught in drug deal outside Brick Walmart
A father and his son were arrested, processed and then released on summonses after the Brick Police Street Crimes Unit watched as a hand-to-hand drug deal took place between two vehicles outside the Walmart on Route 88, the department announced on Thursday.

Detectives pulled over one of the vehicles involved in the drug deal over traffic violations, while the other vehicle couldn't be found.
When detectives approached the vehicle and searched it, they found heroin, cocaine, used syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
Scott Butler, 58, Brick was arrested for possession of cocaine drug paraphernalia and was also issued traffic summonses.
The passenger, Scott Butler Jr., 28, Brick, was arrested for possession of cocaine, heroin, hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia.
