Warner Bros. is seriously banking on a resurgence of Harry Potter fever. At a fan event in London on Thursday, J.K. Rowling herself confirmed that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which hasn’t even come out in theaters yet, will be a five-film franchise.

At the Empire Theater in London, in a room crowded full of Wizarding World fanatics, Rowling, who wrote the screenplay for the upcoming film, broke the news: “I’m pretty sure that there are going to be five movies, now that I’ve been able to properly plot them out.” She explained that, “We always knew that there would be more than one.” Initially, Fantastic Beasts was expected to be the first of a trilogy, because three is a nice round number and there may not be a ton of material left in the Harry Potter universe. But now it seems like Warners is ready for a Harry Potter redux, as the previous franchise about the bespectacled wizard weighed in at eight movies in total, the final installment having been split in half.

In August, Warners announced that a Fantastic Beasts sequel was already in the works, which isn’t too surprising, as Harry Potter fans are a huge group of people who are pretty reliable at the box office. But five?? That’s way more than we anticipated. No word yet on whether they’ll all be led by the upcoming film’s protagonist Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne), or whether they’ll branch out to include other magical creatures in other parts of the world.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens November 18.
