It is winter and a perfect time to stay in on a cold wet icy night and enjoy dinner from your cozy home. This is the time of year when "takeout" is very popular, especially when it's delivered right to the door.

On a snowy weekend in Jersey, there's nothing better than a good movie, slippers, and a delicious takeout meal. So this article by Lovefood caught my attention "Your State's Best Takeout Restaurant For A Cozy Night In". Just recently to celebrate New Year's we decided to have subs from a local eatery and order several and then split them up so we could enjoy several different tastes and from home on a stormy end to 2022. FYI we enjoyed chicken parm, meatball parm, and cheesesteak.

Lovefood tackles the best "takeout" and this article really hits home! sorry, couldn't resist. "If you’re sick of your own cooking but don’t want to eat out, then it’s time to order restaurant-quality food in."

According to their article, it's Italian at home for the best in Jersey. They selected ITA Italian Kitchen in Jersey City, New Jersey. "You should try the burrata with marinated peaches and almonds, which is fresh and bursting with flavor. The pizza, especially the Mushroom Fungi topped with béchamel, mushrooms, pickled peppers, scallions and truffle oil, is well worth ordering too."

ITA Italian Kitchenmay be an option for you but maybe you have a favorite "takeout" restaurant of your own, if so share your spot with us and post your recommendations below. We always encourage your input and feedback.
