Dozens Of Local First Responders Surprise Sick Lacey Boy [Videos]

Many in Ocean County will remember the 2011 story of 11-year-old Kyle McGetrick from Barnegat, who inspired firefighters and first responders from across the state to brighten his spirit at the holidays as he battled cancer.

Kyle passed in 2012, but his legacy carries on as nearly 100 emergency vehicles came together to give a similar Christmas surprise to Owen, a Lacey Township boy who is fighting brain cancer.

This past weekend, the Courage From Kyle Foundation arranged for over 85 emergency vehicles from a dozen towns to parade past Owen's home to lift his spirits much like the amazing showing for Kyle 5 years ago.
