Does This Cereal Work? Or Would You Pass?

As I strolled through the supermarket I couldn’t help but wonder what this cereal is all about. It caught my eye “churros” cereal from General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
If your not familiar with churros here is a description .... a churro is a fried-dough pastry—predominantly choux—based snack. Churros are traditional in Spain and Portugal, where they originated, as well as in the Philippines and Ibero-America ~ Wikipedia
Churros usually have a cinnamon like coating, so it is not surprising that this twist is being used by the folks at General Mills with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I can actually see this as a new way to market a “cinnamon” based cereal. So if I was still eating cold cereal, which I’m not, I’d try it.
My recommendation would be to cook some oatmeal and add a bit or real cinnamon to the oats, trying not to use a cinnamon “sugar” substitute. This way you get a healthier breakfast with a cinnamon twist. I do not use milk or milk substitutes in my oatmeal, but if that’s too dry for you add whatever dairy/non-dairy product you like and enjoy.
If you have tried the new Churros cereal, how was it?
