The buzz was building back in the fall when tickets went on sale for the upcoming grand opening of America's 3rd Legoland park just a short drive from New Jersey.

The New York Legoland park is set for Goshen, New York, just a short drive from New Jersey in New York's Hudson Valley.

But as with so many things this year, the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic hit the brakes on those plans with the park's opening pushed back months to an unspecified date in 2021.

Originally set to cut the ribbon on the 4th of July, park officials posted a message to their official Facebook page announcing the delay:
