If a spy balloon flew over NJ, the people watching would be entertained, to say the least.

An enormous balloon flying over the US was the talk of the town this weekend, which wouldn't be an issue if it was a parade balloon or a blimp.  But, this was no friendly balloon - it was suspected to be a spy balloon from China (who claims it was for weather research).

By the way, NBC notes that the balloon was almost four times taller than Snoopy at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Yikes!

The balloon was shot down on Saturday, and per NBC, the government is trying to gather more information about it from its remains.  We'll likely never know what this gigantic balloon (that kind of resembles Jean Jacket from Jordan Peele's Nope) recorded.

If I spotted that balloon, I'd definitely think aliens were invading us and would run in the complete opposite direction.

While I suspect (and hope) there won't be any alleged spy balloons flying over New Jersey anytime soon, it is entertaining to think of the craziness that it would capture.  The Garden State is anything but dull.  Something tells me that if spies were watching footage from New Jersey, they'd quickly turn it off and destroy it.  Or, it could become a hit TV show like Jersey Shore.  There's no in-between.

Here's some actual footage of the alleged spy balloon.

What do you think it would capture in NJ?
