Netflix binge-watching marathons have been a regular occurrence for many people (myself included) in 2020.

One of my go to's no matter what year it is, is "Queer Eye," which is a reboot of the 2003 series originally titled "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." If you've never watched the show, it's about a group of 5 people (known as the Fab 5) in the LGBTQ+ community who each specialize in a particular field of work. Tan France is the style expert, Jonathan Van Ness is the grooming expert, Antoni Porowski is the food expert, Bobby Berk is the home design expert, and Karamo Brown is the culture expert. They work together to give a new person a makeover (they call it a make-better) on each episode. At the end of every episode, the person who the Fab 5 has helped ends up with a new lease on life, having learned lessons, and gaining confidence to help them in the future. It really is a feel-good show to watch.

Season 5, which premiered on Netflix last month, takes place in Philly, and it seems the Fab 5 had some fun at Jenkinson's Boardwalk while they were in town! The show's Facebook page posted pictures of the gang having fun at the boardwalk. Check them out below:

I think it's safe to say these pictures were taken before the pandemic, since Karamo Brown posted a throwback video to his Instagram from the same day, saying "Missing hanging out w/these idiots."

Would you want the Fab 5 to give you a "make-better?" I would love for Jonathan to do my hair, to have a deep talk about life with Karamo, for Bobby to redesign my apartment, to cook with Antoni, and to be styled by Tan! A girl can dream.
