Your Kids Are the Stars at New Theatre at Big Scoop Family Ice Cream Parlor

Big Scoop Family Ice Cream Parlor & Beach Family Golf is one of our favorite places for family fun just a block away from the beach. You can enjoy all sorts of combinations of their 32 ice cream flavors (anyone want a Tutti Fruitti Italian Ice Cocktail?!) and challenge your kids to a rollicking game of mini-golf. They even have a full arcade with state-of-the-art games.

And, we wanted to make sure you heard about their latest addition — Broadway on the Boulevard. It is a nonprofit children's theatre that offers workshops and classes for aspiring young actors. Imagine your little ones shimmying across the stage to songs from The Little Mermaid or your teen dancing to a well known jazz tune.

Talent scouts are welcome, too!

Broadway on the Boulevard offer free workshops from 1-3:30 p.m. each Sunday where junior thespians can learn to sing, dance, act and perform. It's perfect for kids in pre-K to fifth grade. Here's a look at some of the scenes from their recent Mary Poppins workshop:
