Wow! These 5 New Jersey Dinner Adventures Are So Much Fun
Sometimes dinner should be more than just sitting at a table, ordering your food and heading home. Why not turn dinner into an adventure?
New Jersey has some pretty fun places where the experience is just as memorable as the meal. You can cruise along the water, cheer for your favorite knight, enjoy a meal in a historic setting or make a night of dinner and entertainment.
Whether you're looking for something fun to do with the family, planning a special night out or just want to do something different, these five New Jersey dinner adventures are worth checking out, thanks to onlyinyourstate.com. I totally agree with these, I've been to four of the five.
5 New Jersey Dinner Adventures You Can Not Miss
1 - River Lady Cruises in Toms River
How lucky are we to have the River Lady right here in Ocean County? And if you've never tried the sunset cruise, put that one on your list.
2. - Clinton Station Diner in Clinton
A diner can be a lot more than a place to grab a quick meal, and Clinton Station Diner is one of those places that turns dinner into an experience.
3. - Hell's Kitchen in Atlantic City
If you're heading to Atlantic City, why not make dinner part of the adventure? The scallops are so good.
4. - Medieval Times in Lyndhurst
Okay, I have to admit this one is personal because I was just there a couple of weeks ago! And we loved it.
We were assigned to the Black and White team, so naturally, we were cheering them on from the very beginning. Our knight didn't win, but that didn't stop us from having a fantastic time.
What Makes Medieval Times So Special
Between the horses, knights, cheering and all the action happening around you, it's hard not to get caught up in it.
And then there's the food.
That roasted chicken was so good!
The best part? I really think Medieval Times is one of those places where the whole family can have fun together. You're not just going out for dinner. You're watching a show, cheering for your team and getting completely caught up in the experience.
Even if your knight loses!
5. - Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton
Dinner and a show? Yes, please!
Dinner Doesn't Have to Be Ordinary
There are plenty of great restaurants in New Jersey, but sometimes you want something a little different.
You want to do something.
That's what makes these dinner adventures so much fun. You're creating a memory while you're eating, laughing, watching a show or cruising along the water.
And if you've never tried the River Lady sunset cruise or Medieval Times, I'd definitely put them on your list.
