One Of The Most Ridiculous Things I've Seen On Belmar Beach

Did you go to the beach this weekend? On Saturday, I had the chance to relax on the beach in Belmar. It was a beautiful beach day and if you've read my stuff, you know that I am a Belmartian. I live in Belmar, and I am usually spending time in the ocean or hanging out on the beach. So, when I see something ridiculous in my hometown, I am going to write about it.

This weekend was totally the unofficial start of the summer. I don't think I have ever seen that many people hanging out on the beach before Memorial Day Weekend. The crowds were massive, and the traffic was just a little taste of what locals should be expecting this summer.

Anyway, the mutants were out this weekend. Just when I thought I've seen it all, I was shocked to see people literally sitting on a sofa... ON THE BEACH! This is a couch you would literally have in your damn living room! It even had its original couch cushions. The Belmar.U Instagram page was able to capture the ridiculousness. See below!

I saw the couch from the boardwalk, and I didn't even know what to say. I think it's asinine, but I mean it's also hysterical. I don't know who these fools are but maybe they are on to something.
