This Friday, January 21st, the lights of the water tower at Bell Works in Holmdel will shine pink. They are doing that to pay tribute to a Holmdel girl's 7th heavenly birthday who tragically died 5 years ago from SUDC, Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood.

Little Vienna Carly Savino was only two years old when she tragically passed away 5 years ago from SUDC, and this is the 2nd year in a row that Bell Works is lighting the tower pink in tribute to Vienna.

There is also a special fundraiser taking place this month and 100% of the donations will go to Robert's Program at Boston Children's Hospital for SUDC research. For more information on this fundraiser and other ways you can help or learn more, please visit the Team Vienna website.

SUDC is a category of death in children, adolescents, and teenagers, from 1-18 years old, that remains unexplained after a thorough investigation, including an autopsy, child and family medical record review, and death scene investigation, according to the Team Vienna website.

I have known Vienna's mom Denise Wunderler for years, and she has made it her mission to learn and uncover as much about SUDC as possible so that other families do not have to go through what she and her family are enduring each day.

Please do what you can to help. Vienna's birthday is actually today, January 19th, so keep her in your thoughts today as well, but please remember the water tower at Bell Labs will be pink in her honor this Friday.
