We are in the midst of our first official heat wave of the year and I'm pretty sure as summer arrives tomorrow "officially" it is going to be just the beginning of the "hot" season so it's a perfect time to talk about cooling off with some delicious ice cream. For me, I am pretty easy to please when it comes to ice cream, keep it simple and keep it real. Vanilla is my main "go-to" in ice cream if you start with a good vanilla you can add a little more flavor to make things tasty, hold any candy, sprinkles, etc. hot fudge and some chopped nuts will do just fine :)
