A new article is out from LoveEXPLORING, and it focuses on the most underrated cities in America. "America is filled with incredible attractions, historic landmarks, and some of the most exciting cities in the world. However, there's also a wealth of lesser-known destinations that deserve to come out into the spotlight."

When something is underrated, it simply means it doesn’t get the credit it deserves. It’s one of those things that may not get a lot of attention, but once you try it or experience it, you think, “Why isn’t everyone talking about this?”

According to the LoveEXPLORING article, this South Jersey city is New Jersey's "most underrated" town. "For decades Atlantic City didn't have the best reputation, however, the city has improved itself in recent years and is now a brilliant destination to visit. Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk has the slots, glitzy hotels, and party spots that Las Vegas is famous for, but dialed down a notch or two, with a breath of sea air in place of desert heat. If you're coming with kids, there are plenty of family attractions too – The Steel Pier is sure to be a favorite."

I don't think I completely agree with this title because I still feel there is work to be done in Atlantic City. It's not doing well enough to be "underrated".

According to Atlantic City, "The latest broad figures available for Atlantic City show crime trending downward recently, although the city still reports crime rates that remain higher than state averages."
