Just two weeks ago we told you about the early and intense invasion of ticks throughout the Jersey Shore. Well, not to be the bearer of bad news, but another nuisance pest is making a return to our area right now.

If you're like me, you've probably already seen a number of the smelly pests invading our homes.

Thankfully, they're harmless to humans (unlike ticks!) as far as spreading disease is concerned, but they can cause considerable damage to plants, not to mention their passive-aggressive trademark (and namesake) smell when squashed.

The best rule of thumb - if you see a stink bug in your house, usher it out gently.

You can smash it with a shoe if you want, but your sense of smell will pay the price!

Have you seen stink bugs starting to invade? Tell us where in the comments section!
