Agree? This Is What New Jersey Does Best and Worst
Do You Agree With This New Jersey Survey?
Well, this is the type of question that can evoke a lot of comments from folks not only in New Jersey but around the nation. What does your state do best at and on the "flip-side" what does your state really stink at?

According to a new study from Reader's Digest, when it comes to New Jersey here is the good news and the bad news. Let's start with what we do really well here in the Garden State, any guesses?
What does New Jersey do really well?
According to Reader's Digest, "Known as the “Diner Capital of the World,” New Jersey has over 500 nostalgic joints serving up our favorite comfort food like old-fashioned root beer floats and massive portions of chicken-fried steak and mashed potatoes." I can agree with this. We are well-known for our iconic diners and the delicious food they serve. So, for the sake of this survey, I agree. Not that I'm saying it's a "vital" trait, but it is a tasty one.
What does New Jersey do poorly?
What do you think this is? Beach badges? Traffic? Tolls? Car Insurance? according to Reader's Digest, it's property taxes! "New Jersey has the steepest property taxes in the country, with a whopping average cost of $8,696 compared to the national average of $3,399."
So what do you think? We have great diners and high property taxes, do you agree with the finding? Let us know if you agree with Reader's Digest. Post your comments below.
