We have so many wonderful places to visit here at the Jersey Shore. One of my favorites are our "lighthouses" and we have several here at the Shore.

This article takes us to the Tucker's Island Lighthouse. Have you ever been? It's located at the Tuckerton Seaport in Ocean County.

The original Tucker's Island Lighthouse was built circa 1868 and was a guide for boaters along the Jersey Coast for nearly sixty years until 1927. In 1927 a storm actually toppled the Lighthouse into the Atlantic.

The replica, which is located in Tuckerton, was built in 1999....so it celebrates a 20 year anniversary this year.

My video is a quick look from the top of the Lighthouse, which gives you a Birdseye view of the surrounding creeks and lakes that are around the Lighthouse.
