The Simon Company that owns the Ocean County Mall came out earlier this week that Santa will be in their malls. Simon has several malls through out the country. Santa's visit this year will be a little different because of Covid-19.

Santa is coming to center court at the Ocean County Mall starting Friday November 20th, 2020. Simon's Ocean County Mall calendar shows Santa only comes weekends in November and everyday in December through Christmas Eve.

Santa's will be socially distanced this year. Reservations are "strongly encouraged". Walk-ups will be welcome, but the mall is asking for a reservation to keep Santa, his helpers, and his visitors safe and healthy. CLICK HERE to make your reservations now at the Ocean County Mall.

So, what does a socially distanced Santa look like? Santa and his helpers will have masks on. Any guest that visits with Santa will have a mask on, 2 years old and older. Guests will not be allowed to sit on Santa's lap.

I know my daughter always was a little scared of Santa and the Easter Bunny, so some kids will enjoy the fact they don't have to sit on his lap. I'm wondering though, how will Santa hear what's on your list. Just a reminder, when you visit with Santa, talk a little louder.

Santa's magic with or without a mask. I'm just so happy that Santa will be coming to the Ocean County Mall. Some malls in New Jersey will be putting plexiglass around Santa, I haven't heard that yet at our mall. But, things could change.

For now, when you visit Santa this year, please remember to make reservations and wear a mask.
