A young Marine from Colts Neck, Dan Baldassare, is identified as one of 16 KC-130 passengers killed in Tuesday's crash in Mississippi. The cause of the explosion and crash has yet to be pinpointed. The craft was ferrying personnel, equipment, arms and ammo from North Carolina to California.

Pretrial motions in the Sarah Stern murder case prolong the wait for the Neptune teen's family to achieve closure. Meanwhile, they will celebrate her life this Saturday in the Neptune City Community Center, displaying an array of her paintings and photographs, 1 PM until 8 PM.

Fluke sizes, bag limits and season length set by New Jersey environmental officials get approvals from the Naitonal Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA). Anglers in most waters can catch up to three per day, minimum size 18 inches, and minimum 17 inches in Delaware Bay. Island Beach State Park catches must be at least 16 inches, two per day maximum. The season runs through September 5.
