I love summer, but fall is sure beautiful here at the Jersey Shore.

This year more than ever, we need to get out an enjoy the fall weather. From leaves falling, walking along the beach, head to the boardwalk with a light jacket, and maybe take a bike ride. There are so many fun things to do in New Jersey, fun for the whole family.

Newjerseyfamily.com put together this great list and I've done all of them with the family. It's all about making memories with the ones you love. You might think your kids don't want to do anything other than be on their phone or video games, but they do. They want to be outside and making memories. I totally understand, having a teenager, but believe me - they'll love it once you get out there and do it.

Apple Picking - Click here for the list of apple picking farms in our area.

Corn Maze - Some are really, really good in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. New Jersey has some great ones. Even ones for the little ones, and the bigger kids. Click here for the list of corn mazes in New Jersey.

A Fall Hike - Cheesequake State Park is a great place to see leaves and get the family out and walk.

A Golf Course - This could be on a "big" golf course or possibly one of the fun miniature golf courses in Ocean County. The family might just love a day out winning against Mom and Dad.

Fishing - I used to think fishing was boring - I'm sorry - I know I was totally wrong. I love it now. I love crabbing and just good ole' fishing in the bay. It's relaxing and a great way to spend time with the family.

Have fun, stay safe, and make some great memories.
