Springtime is finally here, and that means things are busy in Jackson Township, Ocean County, as folks at Six Flags Great Adventure are busy getting the park ready for the 2026 season.

One of the current projects underway at the New Jersey Amusement Park is the addition of a new roller coaster and updates to the "boardwalk" area of the park.

According to Park Officials, construction is underway on the park’s 14th roller coaster, set to debut within the newly transformed Boardwalk area. Today, the park revealed the first visual clue — a striking blue track component, offering an early look at the ride’s color and design.

This new coaster is separate from the park’s 2027 “Project Purple”, which remains under construction and will become the park’s 15th roller coaster.

Park Officials added that the Boardwalk coaster will anchor the reimagined area, bringing a fresh mix of family thrills and classic seaside energy to one of the park’s most dynamic spaces. Additional details will be announced soon.

In a recent Press Release, Park Officials added information about their 2026 Gold Pass:

To celebrate the return of the season, the park is offering its Spring Sale featuring the 2026 Gold Pass for just $70, including a free upgrade from Silver.

With the Gold Pass, guests get 3-Parks-in-1 with access to Six Flags Great Adventure, Wild Safari, and Hurricane Harbor. Additional benefits include:

• Free general parking
• Unlimited visits
• Access to select Six Flags parks
• In-park discounts and exclusive perks

The Regional Gold Pass also provides access to nearby parks, including Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, Kings Dominion, and Six Flags New England.
