10 Things You'd Like to See in the Old Charlie Brown's Lakewood

There are so many empty buildings and restaurants in Ocean County, let's fill them up. I love this list that you want to see in the Charlie Brown's Rt. 70 in Lakewood.

I love all of these restaurants that could easily take the place of the old Charlie Brown's:

Charlie Brown's in Lakewood and Forked River closed because of Covid-19. It was sad to see these leave Ocean County. Every time I would drive by the parking lot would be full.

When ever we talk about something being replaced there are always so many opinions on what Ocean County needs. I get several emails from you saying, "Why so many chain restaurants "..."We want something healthy."

Sara in Toms River said she would love a Rainforest Cafe. I totally agree with her, but are Rainforest's only in places with large crowds, like Atlantic City or Orlando? We draw large crowds here to Ocean County with the boardwalks and beach. It could work. I think the building might have to be a little bit bigger.

I think Rainforest Cafe would do fantastic on Rt. 37 on the way to Seaside, right? That would be a perfect spot for it.

Tom in Brick travels Rt. 70 everyday and would love an IHOP in that spot.

Jackie in Toms River would love to see a Red Robin in the old Charlie Brown's on Rt. 70 in Lakewood. That could work.

I can't wait to see what will take it's place, thanks for some great ideas.
