A real New Jerseyan would never do any of these things.

If you've lived in New Jersey as long as I have, you know we have some unspoken rules.  There are just some things you would never be caught dead doing.  These things separate you from the tourists and the people who come here for fun.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with anyone visiting outside us from our state, and it brings the economy a much-needed boost, however, we can spot you from a mile away.

Real New Jerseyans know there are certain foods we'd never touch with a 10-foot pole, places we wouldn't ever want to be seen at, and there are certain words we'd never say (although people who aren't from around here seem to think that's all we say.)

We're a passionate, loyal, and different kind of crew here in The Garden State, and we wouldn't change a thing about it.  That's why I love being from New Jersey so much.  We're kind, generous, and a little crazy at times.  And if anyone has a problem with it, in true Jersey fashion, we'll just tell them to deal with it.

Take a look at 10 things a true New Jerseyan would never do.  And if by chance you've done a couple of things, don't worry.  I won't say a word.  But don't do it again.  I'm just kidding!
