A Mega Millions ticket purchased in Neptune for last Friday night's drawing is worth $1 million, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

The lucky ticket was purchased at the Wawa on Corlies Avenue and matched five numbers from the September 25 drawing, for second prize, according to Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director in a news release.

If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option it would have been worth $5 million.
18 players with four of the numbers will get $500 each. If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option they would each be worth $2,500.

64,244 other New Jersey players took home $127,535in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger. “Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”

The winning numbers for the September 25 drawing were 03, 08, 38, 51and 64.The Gold Mega Ball was 04, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $39,000,000 for tonight's drawing at 11:00 pm.
