Landmark Toms River Diner Closes
Lovers of disco fries and late night breakfast will have to find a new home as the popular Toms River Diner & Restaurant is closing its doors for the last time today.
The Toms River Diner on Route 37 opened it's doors in 1972. The 24/7 restaurant has been a popular destination morning, noon and ofter very late night. Sadly, the eatery will be closing up shop for the final time today at about 3PM.
There has been no official word on why the diner closed up shop, but many at the Jersey Shore visited TRD for the last time to celebrate the "end of an era." #trd was trending on Facebook.
This tribute from Anthony Tagliaferro is amazing.
This news comes just weeks after Toms River's Rivoli's closed.
