Volunteers are needed to deliver food to people in need in Forked River, Lacey Township.
A lot has changed in our community because of Covid-19. Fulfill partnered with local hospitals and is looking for volunteers to deliver food in Forked River. The partnership with Fulfill and local hospitals come together to deliver meals to cancer patients, new moms, and hospital staff that were furloughed from the pandemic, according to the patch.com.
Fulfill reflects on the needs of our neighbors and win the battle against hunger. Fulfill goes beyond providing food but helps those in need get to a place where they can get back on their feet for good. Click here for Fulfill's programs.
This is a new partnership with Fulfill and local hospitals to help out people that have been affected by Covid-19 in our community. There are several deliveries to homes in Forked River. Volunteers can commit to delivering meals to Forked River families on a consistent day each week.
Volunteers must pick up the meal delivery at Fulfill's facility in Neptune, but soon they hope to have meals for pick-up in the facility in Toms River. Fulfill realizes that it is quite a drive, but imagine the smile and great feeling you'll have knowing you're helping out a family in Ocean County. ***Fulfill is in need of non-perishable food donations. Drop-off for non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at Fulfill's facility on Hooper Avenue in Toms River. Also, you can drop off non-perishable food at Fullfill's facility in Neptune.***
