According to a recent Patch article, "To win $1 million, the ticket hit all five numbers, but not the Powerball."

The winning numbers are 11, 24, 50, 56 and 66, and the Powerball drawn was 16 with a Power Play of 2X.

Lottery officials report that the winning ticket was purchased at the Quick Stop (886 W. Bay Avenue) in Barnegat Township.

The Powerball ticket winning $1 million was sold in Barnegat for the November 9th  drawing.

So check those tickets because you never know, the winning ticket could be sitting on the kitchen table and you forgot all about it. Of course, you needed to have purchased the ticket at Quick Stop in Barnegat Township lol but if you did I'd get those tickets out and start checking! What would be the first thing you would do with that million?

According to Wikipedia "Powerball's predecessor began in 1988; the multi-state game was known as Lotto America. The game, and name, were changed to Powerball on April 19, 1992; its first drawing was held April 22."
