Wondering What’s Coming to the Huge Development Deal in Ocean Twp., NJ

I have as many answers as I could get for you. It's surprising to see all these "things" together for this huge development that's closer and closer to being built in Monmouth County.

Wawa, Chick-fil-A, Miller Ale House, Marriott, and Turning Point are all a part of this big plan. Driving by the location in Monmouth County, it's crazy to see all these things on one sign where the location will be.

This is a project we've been hearing about for a while, maybe ten years. It looks like it's finally going to happen.

According to the coaster.net, they get the green light at the location of Rt. 35 and Deal Road, associated with the Ocean Town Center. I just think about the traffic around that area. It's already crazy, but...Ocean Town Center Facebook page indicates township zoning actually provides for a higher density use in that area but its design will improve the roadway and correct or mitigate existing traffic problems and safety concerns. Plans call for an additional lane on Deal Road from Logan Road to Route 35, according to coaster.net.

So, I guess that's good news. There will be corporate offices with the Wawa and the Chick-fil-A. On several Facebook Pages in Monmouth, people were wondering would their property taxes go up?

This will give opportunities for jobs in the community, there's a positive. I do not see a specific timeline of when the construction will begin.
