It started in 1984 with eight boys teams and today the WOBM Christmas Classic is one of the largest high school holiday basketball tournaments in New Jersey. The 39th edition presented by Jersey Mike’s will take place from December 26-30 at the RWJBarnabas Health Arena on the campus of Toms River High School North.

Manasquan is back to defend the Jim Ruhnke Bracket boys crown they won last year on their way to a 28-4 season. Gone is MVP Darius Adams who is now attending a prep school in Indiana. While senior point guard Ryan Frauenheim will miss the season with an injury the Warriors return 6’7 senior Alex Konov and 6’4 junior Griffin Linstra and as always will be one of the teams to beat.
