Windy Halloween Forecast for New Jersey Trick-or-Treaters and Parade-Goers
A windy Halloween ahead for New Jersey Trick-or-Treaters and Parade-Goers today! 🎃

New Jersey’s Halloween festivities are about to get a bit blustery! The National Weather Service has issued wind advisories for almost all of New Jersey, preparing us for a gusty day and night as everyone gears up for trick-or-treating and the always-popular Toms River Halloween Parade.
Wind Advisory in Effect Across New Jersey
Most areas of the Garden State will be under a wind advisory from this morning and here at the Jersey Shore, Ocean and Monmouth Counties - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Halloween.
Timing the Gusts: When to Expect the Strongest Winds
If you live along the coast in Atlantic or Cape May counties, expect the advisory to last a little longer, from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday. Farther north, in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union counties, the advisory will remain in place from noon through midnight.
The National Weather Service says winds are expected to pick up this (Friday, Halloween) morning and then this afternoon and night, right around the time many families will be heading out in costume for trick-or-treating fun.
