No More Changing The Clocks?

How do you feel about the time change every year? I know for me personally I like when we "spring ahead" because it means obviously spring is coming. The weather is getting better and we get the extra hour of daylight which extends our day and just makes you feel like winter is ending.

In the fall it's not so exciting when we "fall back" and things get dark early. I don't suffer from any seasonal depression symptoms, but I do like the longer days better. When we "fall back" it does mean the holidays are coming and it's time to enjoy time indoors with friends and family along with football and food, so that's not so bad.

The topic of time change has been something folks have debated for some time now and whether to do away with "daylight savings" and not have to change the clocks. President Trump has been considering the issue.

According to a recent Patch article, "President Donald Trump, whose administration has been working at a dizzying pace to reshape the federal government, has indicated support in the past for ending daylight saving time."

The next daylight savings is days away, we "spring ahead" on Sunday, March 9th so it's fast approaching. President Trump said, "Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation.” So as we approach another time change we will have to see what happens.
