
New Jersey Man Found Dead After Disappearing From U.S. Naval Academy
Search Efforts End in Tragedy Near Naval Academy
Sad news following the search for a New Jersey man who was attending the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. According to Patch, "A Morris County man, Kyle Philbert James, a 20-year-old midshipman from Whippany, was pronounced dead on Friday, one day after he’d been reported missing, according to authorities."

It appears that people began to notice James was missing when he didn't attend class. Shortly after that, his body was recovered near the Naval Academy.
According to the Patch report, James "was a member of the academy’s 36th Company, a History major who participated with the USNA Gospel Choir."
Authorities say James’ disappearance and death remain under investigation, and his cause of death has not yet been determined.
