I'm well into adulthood, but one thing that still perks my ears up is the unmistakable song of the ice cream truck making its way through my neighborhood.

When I was growing up in Central Jersey, my favorite was the Italian ice truck that would come through my dad's neighborhood. It didn't matter what we were doing or how much background noise there was, as soon as I heard the distinctive, tinny version of "Pop Goes The Weasel", I was out the door in a flash.

When I was even younger, there was an ice cream truck that used to go through the apartment complex that I lived in that, in addition to frozen treats, also sold little dollar store toys.

But what makes for a truly great ice cream truck?

Is it the brand? The selection? Choices besides ice cream or Italian ice?

So tell us, which Ocean County neighborhood has the best ice cream truck, and why? Comment below and let us know!
