As I was heading in to work today, errands took me down Whitesville Road in Toms River, where I got a nice view of spring having sprung.

Well, at least in the process of springing.

It feels like the cooler than usual weather has been making the usual signs of spring emerge more slowly than we're used to (although I've been hearing spring for a few weeks in my neighborhood, at least).

My neighborhood still has trees that are just barely starting to bud.

But Whitesville Road is starting to have the season on full display, between the photo above of bursting trees and the photo below of blazing forsythia, it's at least starting to look like spring is here.
